For a first time, we were impressed with the food and service. It was busy when we arrived (11am on a Sunday) but they had us (party of 2) seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the veggie scramble with potatoes and marble rye toast and corned beef hash with eggs over easy, grits, and a biscuit. Huge portions. Good marble rye. Good seasoned corned beef (oregano?). Coffee cup was kept full. Only con was watery grits. Worth a return visit.

Reminds me of places my Grandma used to work at, real dinner type place. Excellent service, friendly and fast. Chicken fried steak and eggs are great. Biscuits and gravy are even better. Food came out faster than expected and exactly to order. Nice big coffee mugs. No TVs, but that's one of the reasons I liked it so much.
